My Babies
I have been thinking a lot lately about the impact kids have on our lives as parents. This current pregnancy was very unexpected and the timing of it is not the best. Yet do I wish it hadn’t happened? Absolutely not. Heavenly Father really intended for us to have this baby now. He must have very good reasons and this child will bless our home in more ways than we can imagine.
I think the idea that the 5th baby is less important than the first baby is absolute rubbish. Just because a baby is the first does not make them more special than any subsequent babies. My mom doesn’t love Sean more than she loves Aidan. She doesn’t love Colin any less than the rest of us because he was the 9th baby. I love my kids for their individuality and uniqueness, not for their birth order. Each baby is special and deserves to be celebrated and adored.
